  1. So sorry to hear about your health issues! Glad that everything had been caught on time and you are recovering!

Wishing you both a happy and very healthy New Year!!! ❤️

  2. Mark and Jim,
Happy New Years! Jim, so sorry to hear about your recent trials and tribulations but glad to hear you’re on the mend! I can only imagine how stressful that must have been. Sorry we didn’t join you guys in Brazil, looks like I might have been useful, lol!
    All the best,
    Rob and Mel

  3. Happy New Year, Mark and Jim! Jim–that deep vein thrombosis and blood clot episode sounds really scary; I’m glad you good good care–or at least it sounds like you did.

I can’t believe you’ll be back in the U.S. soon. I will need to find a new escape to replace your blog posts, which have been beautiful, informative, and oh so appetizing. I look forward to catching up with you in 2019!

  4. Dear Mark and Jim,
Rio and you don’t seem to mix so well! I am extremely happy to hear you’re on the mend.
Mum and I went for a walk on the beach today and your names came up. We both send our love.
Happy New Year to you both. May the remainder of the year be full of positives!
    Love, Pip.
